Winter 2027 College Readiness Cohort
Prepare Your Student for College
The Winter 2027 College and Career Readiness Cohort is a 12-week virtual dual-enrollment experience designed for current ninth- through 12th-grade students.
Through this asynchronous program, your student will earn two college credits while building a stronger understanding of themselves and the possibilities available to them after high school. They will identify personal strengths and interests, explore potential career pathways, and develop strategies for making informed decisions about their educational and professional goals.
Throughout the cohort, your student will also become more familiar with Oakland Community College (OCC), gain experience using tools and resources that support career and educational exploration, and begin connecting their interests to future college, career, and life opportunities.
The program runs for 12 weeks, from Feb. 8 to April 30, 2027.
Your student can expect to:
- Participate in CNS 1150: Career Planning.

- Receive targeted support from the OCC Dual Enrollment & K-12 Partnerships team.
- Attend virtual Dual Enrollment Student Success Seminars to explore OCC opportunities, resources, and support services.
