Welcome to Sweet Oak Cafe

Sweet Oak Cafe is more than just a great place to grab breakfast or lunch – it’s a showcase of the culinary creativity simmering at Oakland Community College.  

Rooted in Royal Oak’s rich food and arts culture, we are open to the general public as well as OCC students and staff. Located inside the Culinary Studies Institute Building on OCC’s Royal Oak campus, stop in and enjoy an ever-changing selection of grab-and-go breakfast and lunch items, all inspired and prepared at OCC!

Our menu changes with the seasons, but you’ll regularly find fresh choices like:

• Grab-and-go breakfast sandwiches  
• Baked goods, pastries, and ready-to-bake items
• Fresh soups and salads
• Tasty lunch sandwiches
• Hot coffee and refreshing drinks

Sweet Oak Cafe is located on the first floor inside the Culinary Studies Institute building on OCC’s Royal Oak campus. Whether you're between classes, working nearby, or exploring Royal Oak, we’d love to serve you!

7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Monday – Thursday during the academic year)
