Apply for a Summer Momentum Scholarship

Wouldn’t it be cool if OCC covered some of your expenses for summer classes? It will if you qualify for a Summer Momentum Scholarship.

You qualify if you can answer “yes” to two questions:

1. Did you complete at least 16 credit hours between the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 semesters?

2. Are you in good academic standing with a minimum 2.0 GPA and a minimum 67% rate of completion?

If you meet these qualifications, the Summer Momentum Scholarship will award up to $1,000.00 to cover  Summer Semester expenses!

You apply for the Summer Momentum Scholarship online through Scholarship Universe. The application deadline is May 4, 2026. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-awarded basis.

 

What do you need to know?

• Guest students, early/middle college students, and dual-enrolled students aren’t eligible.
• Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours in your Academic Plan of Study.
• The scholarship doesn’t cover audited or credit-by-exam courses.
