Following graduation, medical assistants can demonstrate their knowledge and commitment to professionalism by earning the Certified Medical Assistant credentials (CMA (AAMA)). The CMA (AAMA) credential is awarded after successful completion of the American Association of Medical Assistant's (AAMA) certification exam. This nationally recognized credential is widely respected and increasingly sought by healthcare employers.
